Maternal and Child Health Major

This major is a program that focuses on maternal and child health initiatives help prevent health problems and mortality by identifying health risks, including depression, intimate partner violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and inadequate nutrition.

Includes instruction in general education courses that address the basics of public health along with specific courses in maternal, child, community, women’s, family, and infant health.
