Corrections Administration Major

This is a program that prepares individuals to study the theories and principles, of correctional science and to function as professional corrections officers and other workers in public and/or private incarceration facilities.

What can you do with a major/degree in Corrections Major?

You have a number of options when it comes to a career in Corrections.  Several roles have an emphasis on work at correctional facilities, some are focused on rehabilitation, some are even administrative in nature.   Some of the job options include probation officer, substance abuse counselor, case manager, group counselor, and pretrial services officer.
